Here at the Lofthouse it is our philosophy to host a wide diversity of dynamic events promoting new and original art and culture. In the past we have hosted FONT (Fresh Original Nottingham Theatre) Festival, staged sharing performances by nationally recognised dance/performance artist Liz Aggiss for Dance4. We regularly hold Art exhibitions with private view parties and Dj’s. Watch this space for our upcoming events or contact us if you have any ideas for our multi-functional venue.

We are a team of creative professionals who regularly deliver a diverse range of workshops in our space and across the city, primarily through the WEA. In the past we have run an all abilities drawing class, a TV & radio production course, fashion workshops from design through pattern cutting to final garment manufacture, sculpture and photoshop workshops. Look out for our ever changing programme to participate or If you have a skill you want to share come and host your own!

We are passionate about supporting emerging artists locally, nationally and internationally. We aim to bring you live music every weekend ranging from solo acoustic musicians to unplugged bands and Indie acts. We also have a roster of fantastic DJ’s and club nights.
